Wearable prototyping

Prototyping with wearables and fashion pieces that promote human well-being, increase capabilities and solve problems – always balancing form and functionality. We developed functional prototypes using new materials such as biofabrics (made from kombuncha) and mycelium, microelectronics, sensors – laser cutting and printing 3D parts. Prototypes included 3D printed necklaces with sensors for safety, mushroom shoulder and head adornments for quadriplegics to control electronics, modular shoes, solar bags and cyclist jackets with built in sensors and LEDs
